The son of a Hamas leader who helped Israel’s security forces kill and arrest members of the Islamic terrorist group says he’s not afraid to die.

Mosab Hassan Yousef tells The Associated Press he’s willing to speak out about Hamas’ brutalities and the evils of Islam even if it gets him killed.

During an AP interview, Yousef — a convert to Christianity — hurled his most inflammatory comments at Islam. Acknowledging that the comment would likely offend many people — but that his goal is not to offend — he said: “The biggest terrorist is Allah of the Quran, the god of the Quran, the god of Islam.”

Since leaving Islam, Yousef has come to believe that the more closely Muslims follow Allah and Muhammad, the more they become “inhuman” terrorists.

Yousef’s father, senior Hamas leader Sheik Hassan Yousef, publicly disowned his son on Monday. But the younger Yousef says he now worships a God who will never disown him. “A god who teaches you how to hate and he says about himself that ‘I am the deceit [sic]’ is different than a God who tells you ‘I love you — no matter what you do, you’re my son.”

In a seething rant on the Shumukh al-Islam Web forum – and translated by the SITE Institute – the radical called this week for U.S. counterparts to assassinate Letterman and “cut the tongue of the lowly Jew,”

The developers behind the Ground Zero Mosque have re-emerged
with a new plan to build a mosque in the same location that
caused such an uproar last year.

And now they are using the 10-year anniversary of 9/11 to
promote a major fundraising goal of the campaign. According
to a New York City news outlet, Mosque organizers seek to
raise $7 million by September 10, which of course coincides
with the 9/11 anniversary.

Ground Zero Mosque organizers are also trying to re-sell
their mosque in kinder, gentler language. But the facts
remain the same: millions of dollars are about to be pumped
into a major Muslim center and now organizers are using
the 9/11 tragedy to promote their efforts.

Naser Jason Abdo, 21, was indicted in Waco on charges of possession of an unregistered destructive device, possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition by a fugitive from justice … He was arrested two weeks ago at a Killeen motel near Fort Hood after going AWOL from Fort Campbell, Ky. Investigators say they found a handgun, an article titled “Make a bomb in the kitchen of your Mom” and the ingredients for an explosive device, including gunpowder, shrapnel and pressure cookers. An article with that title appears in an Al Qaeda magazine. Private Abdo was approved as a conscientious objector this year after citing his Muslim beliefs, but that status was delayed after he was charged with possessing child pornography.

Iran’s Supreme Court says an evangelical pastor charged with apostasy can be executed if he does not recant his faith, according to a copy of the verdict obtained by a religious rights activist group.

Christian Solidarity World says Iranian-born Yousef Nadarkhani, who was arrested in 2009 and given the death sentence late last year, could have his sentence suspended on the grounds that he renounce his faith.
