Jihadist who abandoned violence describes goals, strategies of Muslim Brotherhood

Kamal Saleem was trained in terror starting at age 7 at a PLO assault camp, learning to know and hate his enemies, was indoctrinated in radical Islam on his mother’s knee and studied with his father how to despise Christians and Jews.

He dined with Moammar Gadhafi, his website says he served under Yasser Arafat and has Arab royalty in his family tree and he worked as a career mercenary, taking his terror activities worldwide. Ultimately, he was recruited by the Saudi royal family to infiltrate the United States with a campaign of radical Islam.

But Kamal Saleem now has renounced terrorism, adopted a home in America, and has spoken against terror and radical Islam at universities across the nation.

Saleem has a warning for the Western world: “Islam is like a cancer. It grows and expands until it eventually consumes and suffocates the host.”

He says his knowledge of the Muslim Brotherhood’s mission and methods compels him to warn Americans about what is happening under the radar in their own country.

“The Muslim Brotherhood is here specifically to destroy the house of the United States of America and bring about the Islamic House and that’s done by the Muslim’s hand,” Saleem explained.

“And it’s not the just the Muslims who came to the United States for this purpose, but also those they recruited in the United States as Americans and have turned them against this country.”

THE Dutch parliament has passed a bill banning the slaughter of livestock without stunning it first, removing an exemption that has allowed Jews and Muslims to butcher animals according to their centuries-old dietary rules.

If enacted and enforced, religious groups say observant Jews and Muslims would have to import meat from abroad, stop eating it altogether, or leave the Netherlands.

“While the presence of violent and jihad-based literature alone does not necessarily suggest the worshippers at such a mosque adopt the violent literature’s approach to the use of violence, if the imams at such mosques also promote the literature, and if those mosques are more likely to invite guest imams and speakers who are known to promote violent jihad, the presence of these factors together would be strongly suggestive of an environment prone to jihad recruitment.”

A random survey of 100 representative mosques in the U.S. was conducted to measure the correlation between Sharia adherence and dogma calling for violence against non-believers. Of the 100 mosques surveyed, 51% had texts on site rated as severely advocating violence; 30% had texts rated as moderately advocating violence; and 19% had no violent texts at all.

Mosques that presented as Sharia adherent were more likely to feature violence-positive texts on site than were their non-Sharia-adherent counterparts. In 84.5% of the mosques, the imam recommended studying violence-positive texts.

The leadership at Sharia-adherent mosques was more likely to recommend that a worshipper study violence-positive texts than leadership at non-Sharia-adherent mosques. Fifty-eight percent of the mosques invited guest imams known to promote violent jihad.

The leadership of mosques that featured violence-positive literature was more likely to invite guest imams who were known to promote violent jihad than was the leadership of mosques that did not feature violence-positive literature on mosque premises.

(Yet another example of Muslim “tolerance”. When will the West start paying attention and see Islam for the hateful, intolerant force it is, rather than blathering on about “diversity” and “respect”? Why should we respect an ideology that teaches and condones such actions? )

DAKAR — Witnesses say hundreds of Muslim youths burned a church in a neighborhood on the northern part of the capital.

Mama Faye, 24, says she and hundreds of others on Sunday went to a Jehovah’s Witness church on the fringes of their Yoff neighborhood and interrupted a sermon with rioting. She says after churchgoers left they burned the church. She says they also destroyed a nearby bar.

Faye says riot police arrived and started clashing with the rioters on the streets.

A doctor at a local hospital said at least 37 people were injured in the clashes. He spoke on condition of anonymity because he is not permitted to speak to press.

Theirno Mbeugne, spokesman for a local imam association, said the head imam had asked the youth to march. He said the imams did not endorse the destruction, “but they do think that the youth had reason.”

“In the latest planned assault on a U.S. military installation – at least the eighth such conspiracy in the past two years — two Islamic converts have been arrested for allegedly plotting a Fort Hood-style attack on a Seattle center for new military recruits.

The alleged ringleader of the plot, 33-year-old Abu Khalid Abdul-Latif, a convicted felon once known as Joseph Davis, has posted a number of videos on-line attacking the U.S. military, as well as comments praising al Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki, who has been linked to accused Ft. Hood shooter Nidal Hasan. According to the FBI, Abdul-Latif and accused coconspirator Walli Mujahidh, formerly Frederick Domingue, sought to determine “how they could kill the most military personnel and escape or die as martyrs” during a planned July 5 assault on the Military Entrance Processing Station.

The men discussed using “fragmentation grenades” in the facility’s cafeteria as a way of maximizing casualties, say authorities, and were arrested after they allegedly purchased automatic weapons from an informant for the planned attack.”

“Dutch far-right member of parliament Geert Wilders was acquitted of all charges in his hate speech trial in Amsterdam. Judges found the populist politician’s comments against Islam may be offensive to many, but that they fall within the scope of protected free speech.

Supporters of Geert Wilders erupted into applause in the public gallery as the presiding judge acquitted the populist politician of all charges of hate speech and discrimination against Muslims.

Judges called some of Wilders’ comments crude and denigrating – but not illegal. Although they found Wilders’ warning about a “tsunami” of immigrants to be at the limit of what is permissible, they said he stayed within the bounds of the law – especially because his remarks were made during the Netherlands’ heated political debates on multi-culturalism.

For his part, Wilders said he is happy with the verdict and will continue to speak out against what he calls the threat of Islam.

“Now the good news is, it’s also legal to be critical about Islam, to speak publicly in a critical way about Islam, and this something that we need because the Islamization of our societies is a major problem and a threat to our freedom and I’m allowed to say so,” he said.
